I've personally seen the learning and growth jiu-jitsu has given my 8yr old son and would love to help to give others the same opportunity to do so.
Suzanne Gray has been an elementary school principal for the last fifteen years. She lives in Long Island , New York and is a proud mother to four beautiful children. She previously sat as a board member of a non profit 501 c3 Brick 26 designed to assist military veterans. She was named a National Distinguished Principal and NYS Principal of the year in 2016 by SAANYS and NAESP (National Association of Elementary Principals).
Marcus is a native of Monticello, New York and is the current Director of Athletics at The Park School of Buffalo. Prior to joining Park, he worked for 16 years at the University at Buffalo in the Department of Recreation and Intramural Services where his most recent position found him as the Senior Associate Director for Facilities and Business Operations.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Sciences Interdisciplinary/Legal Studies, a Master of Arts Degree in Applied Public Affairs and Urban Studies. Additionally, he has an Advanced Certificate from the Graduate School of Education in Teaching and Leading for Diversity.
Marcus was a Division 1 Wrestler at the University at Buffalo where he earned many accolades, culminating in his admission into the University at Buffalo Division of Athletics Hall of Fame.
In addition to serving as Park's Director of Athletics, he is also the founder of The Unit Promise, a non-profit organization that focuses on Youth Engagement and Development.
Armani Matthews, Is a former NYPD police officer. He currently is working as a stuntman. In addition, he is certified fitness instructor, and also a Black belt in shotokan karate and in the art of Kumite-Ryu-Jujitsu. He believes that a person should always be humble with an open mindset to learn new things.
Letícia earned her blue belt under Emerson Souza in Long Island. After relocating to the US from Brazil, she was welcomed into, and found a home within the local BJJ community. Motivated by the experience and connections she’s built within her BJJ family, she now wants to give back to help those in need to feel welcomed themselves.
Ivan Gomez 1st degree BJJ Blackbelt and Instructor under Emerson Souza. 25+ Years of grappling training and Martial Arts competition including Judo, Freestyle/Folk style Wrestling, Boxing, Muay Thai & MMA. As a former troubled youth. Ivan is looking forward to bringing his experience and knowledge to help Rollshop make a positive impact in young lives.

Brian is a 2nd Degree Blackbelt under Emerson Souza. He began training under Rodrigo Gracie where he met Emerson and has been with him since 2003. Brian owns Loyal Design Co. & is known for his work with familiar Jiu Jitsu brands including Kingz Kimonos, Ronin Brand, Loyal, Choke Republic & Maeda Brand.
Nate Gray is an experienced nonprofit professional who prefers to disrupt traditional models in support of eliminating societal inequality. Motivated by the impact youth sports has on whole child development, he and his brother founded RollShop to embrace any youth who seeks the mats. As President of RollShop, he is tasked with identifying and implementing sustainable revenue models that support programmatic efforts and the scholarships that are committed. With experience in Economic Development and increasing access to capital for entrepreneurs, he is thrilled to continue his work in community development through the power of making connections.
Mark Gray is one stripe black belt under Emerson Souza in Long Island NY. He has been an Elementary Principal in public schools for 17 years and is the proud father of four children. Teaching both children and adults BJJ, he recently secured a grant for a program entitled Edu Jitsu to bring the art into schools. This was the seed for Rollshop, which represents a dream to make Jiu jitsu as affordable and accessible as mindfulness
